THE BACKGROUND

The career behind Trusted AI Systems spans 26 years in senior operations management across two major North American corporations, progressing from Airport Operations Manager and Distribution Manager to District Manager, then General Manager, Area Field Manager, and Senior General Manager. Direct P&L accountability across multi-location operations, fleet management, staff performance, and operational efficiency at scale.

After leaving corporate operations in 2018, the focus shifted to formal accounting education, graduating with honours, followed by approximately two years as a CRA Trust Account Examination Officer. Reviewing business compliance files, examining records, and developing a direct understanding of what CRA looks for and what it costs businesses when the documentation is not right.

The progression is not incidental. 26 years of operational accountability, two years inside CRA, and direct experience building and running a Canadian small business mean TAS understands the problems it solves from every angle, as the operator who lived them, the compliance officer who examined their consequences, and the business owner who built systems to eliminate them.

Accounting, bookkeeping, and small business management are taught at the college level. The QuickBooks curriculum was rebuilt from the ground up, not by a certification course graduate, but by the person who trains other professionals how to use the tools correctly.

AI Adoption Curriculum Developer
The AI adoption curriculum for college educators who were resistant to incorporating it into their teaching was developed and delivered here. That experience, moving resistant professionals from skepticism to full competency at an institutional level, directly informs how TAS approaches every client engagement.
